What's new in CertBox

  1. September 2026

    • Pay as you go - One certificate, £4.99. No monthly plan if you only do the odd one. See the prices
    • Certificate re-issue - Correct or amend an issued certificate with confidence. The new one says what it replaces, and your customer is told.
    • Competent person declaration - Signed before you issue and recorded on the certificate, not assumed.
    • Scheme registration numbers - Name your scheme and the number goes on the document with it.
    • Certbot - Our own quality control bot. It reads every form against the published standard, line by line, and finds the mistakes before your customer does.
  2. August 2026

    • Certificate fingerprints - Every certificate carries one. Anyone can check the copy in their hand is the one you issued.
    • Take back a share link - Sent it to the wrong person? Pull it back.
    • Download everything - Your whole account in one file, whenever you want it. No asking. Your data
    • Renewal remindersPro - Your customer hears from you before their certificate runs out, so the job comes back to you next year.
    • Unlimited properties - On every plan. The cap is gone.

    • Every gas certificate checked - Line by line against the official form, not an approximation of it.
    • Smart notifications - See when a client has opened your quote or your invoice, so you know when to chase.
    • Trade symbol guides - Free reference charts, drawn rather than photographed, for the board and the van. See the symbols
  8. February 2026

    • CertBox opened - Fill a certificate in on your phone, on site, and hand over a finished PDF.
    • Quotes, invoices and card payments - The paperwork and the money in one place, and CertBox chases what you are owed. How it works
    • Accounts integrations - Hook up to Xero or QuickBooks, and your invoices land in your books as you send them.
    • Works with no signal - Fill it in down a cellar. It syncs when you come back up.
