You must still file your NC6 notification via esbnetworks.ie, together with the completed NC6-01-R6 and type-test certificate.
What are the I.S. EN 50549-1 protection settings?
ESB Networks Table 3 prescribes: under-voltage, a 2-stage over-voltage setting, under-frequency, over-frequency, rate of change of frequency (RoCoF), and vector shift (not permitted). Exact values differ for single-phase and three-phase connections. No deviation is permitted without written ESB Networks permission.
What size solar/micro-generation system can connect without special approval?
Single-phase connections are generally limited to 25A (approx. 6kVA); three-phase to 16A per phase (approx. 11kVA). Larger systems fall under ESB Networks' mini-generation or full generator connection processes instead.
