A Roofing Compliance Certificate documents that roofing work has been carried out by a Competent Person Scheme registered contractor in compliance with Building Regulations, covering thermal performance, structural adequacy, and weather resistance. A registered contractor can self-certify notifiable work through the NFRC Competent Person Scheme (formerly CompetentRoofer); the scheme then issues the official Building Regulations Compliance Certificate to the client.
