Looking for a ServiceM8 alternative?
ServiceM8 prices by job volume (30 jobs a month free, then £25 to £269 a month as you grow) and puts forms & certificates on the £59/month Growing plan. CertBox never meters your work: fill in unlimited certificates, quotes and invoices on the free plan, however busy your month is.
What each costs
Forms & certificates start on the ServiceM8 Growing plan: £59/month, capped at 150 jobs. ServiceM8 prices read from their public pricing page on 11 September 2026. Check it yourself: if it has changed, tell us and we will correct this page.

Why people switch
- No job metering: CertBox never caps how many jobs or certificates you do, on any plan.
- Certificates are free in CertBox; ServiceM8 asks £59/month for them.
- CertBox works fully on Android and iPhone alike; ServiceM8’s full app is Apple-only, with a cut-down "Lite" app for Android.
- Flat £14.99 Pro covers branding and automatic customer reminders.
Where ServiceM8 is stronger
An honest comparison cuts both ways. Stay with ServiceM8 if these matter to you:
- Unlimited users on every paid ServiceM8 plan, strong for larger crews.
- A native Apple app with built-in phone/dispatch features.
- An add-on store for niche extensions.
Switching takes an afternoon, not a weekend
1. Export your clients from ServiceM8 as a CSV.
2. Import it in CertBox: Clients → Import CSV. Match your columns to ours: any export format works.
3. Or skip both steps: email the export to paddy@certbox.app and the founder sets your account up for you, usually within a day.
And if CertBox isn’t for you, everything exports back out. Read the CertBox data promise.
